PA 6 / Nylon 6 is a synthetic thermoplastic linear polyamide with many other names such as Polycaprolactam, Polyamide 6 and etc.
High Relative Viscosity Nylon Film Material, R. V. 3.4 PA6 for BOPA Film, Bidirectional Film Stretching, Polyamide 6 Raw Chip, Nylon Rope, Tire Cord It is commonly used in manufacturing industry because of its excellent properties:
     - high strength and stiffness at high temperature
     - good impact strength, even at low temperature
     - very good flow for easy processing
     - good abrasion and wear resistance
     - excellent fuel and oil resistance
     - good fatigue resistance
     - excellent surface appearance and good processability
     - good electrical insulating properties
     - environmentally friendly, 100% recyclable
PA 6 can be processed by all common melt processing techniques such as Injection Molding, Extrusion, 3D Printing, Film stretching, Spinning and etc.

High viscosity PA 6 is commonly used for extrusion and film stretching applications such as film and tubing. It is scratch, puncture, and flex-crack resistant.
PA 6 does not dissolve by or absorb grease, oil or moderate acidic substance. On top of that, Nylon 6 is FDA approved for food contact and resists most organic chemicals. So it is also ideal for use as packaging film application.
