Poly is a non-toxic, odorless, tasteless milky white high crystalline polymer with a density of only 0.90--"0.91g/cm3, which is one of the lightest varieties of all plastics. The formability is good, but the shrinkage rate is large (1%~2.5%). Mechanical properties
Poly has high crystallinity and regular structure, so it has excellent mechanical properties. The absolute value of the mechanical properties of poly is higher than that of polyethylene, but it is still a low variety among plastic materials, and its tensile strength can only reach 30 MPa or a slightly higher level. Poly with a larger isotactic index has higher tensile strength, but with the increase of the isotactic index, the impact strength of the material decreases, but it does not change after it drops to a certain value.

Thermal performance
Poly has good heat resistance, and the products can be sterilized at temperatures above 100 °C, and will not deform at 150 °C without external force. The embrittlement temperature is -35 °C, and embrittlement occurs below -35 °C, and the cold resistance is not as good as polyethylene. The reported values for the glass transition temperature of poly are 18qC, 0qC, 5ºC, etc. This is also because people use different samples, which contain different ratios of crystalline phase and amorphous phase, so that the chain length of the amorphous part of the molecular chain is different. caused.
